How to Unhide Number on MTN Nigeria

If your MTN number is currently hidden (shows as “Private Number” when calling), you can unhide it by following these methods:

Method 1: Using MTN USSD Code

1. Open your phone dialer.
2. Dial:

   #31#
   

3. Then immediately dial the number you want to call.
   For example:

   #31#08012345678
   

This will unhide your number for that specific call.

Method 2: Turn Off Caller ID from Phone Settings

On Android:

1. Open the Phone app.
2. Tap the 3-dot menu or Settings.
3. Go to Call settings → Additional settings.
4. Tap Caller ID.
5. Select "Show number" or "Network default".

On iPhone:

1. Go to Settings → Phone.
2. Tap Show My Caller ID.
3. Toggle it ON to unhide your number.

Method 3: Reset via MTN Customer Care

If you’ve tried the above and your number is still hidden, call MTN customer care:

• Dial 300 and speak with a support agent.
