Roma Appoint Gian Piero Gasperini as New Head Coach

Gian Piero Gasperini has been officially unveiled as the new head coach of AS Roma, ending his nine-year spell at Atalanta, where he earned acclaim for transforming the club into one of Italy’s top sides. The 67-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the capital club.

Gasperini arrives at Roma fresh off a Europa League triumph with Atalanta, capping an era defined by exciting football and overachievement on a modest budget. Speaking at his unveiling on Friday, he shared why he chose Roma over other suitors, including Juventus.
