Job Overview – Assistant Technical Officer (Nurse / Midwife)
The Assistant Technical Officer (Nurse/Midwife) will support healthcare delivery within assigned communities and health facilities in Banki, Borno State. The role involves providing maternal, neonatal, and child health services while ensuring compliance with FHI 360’s humanitarian and public health standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clinical and outreach health services for women, children, and families.
- Deliver high-quality nursing and midwifery care in line with WHO and national guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely reporting.
- Assist in monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of community health programs.
- Collaborate with the Technical Officer, Health and Nutrition Services, to strengthen program implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Educational Requirement: OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Midwifery.
- Experience: Prior experience in maternal and child health, nutrition, or humanitarian health programs is an added advantage.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality healthcare.
