- Login using your registered email address and password.
- On your dashboard, click “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to see if you have been admitted.
If admitted, you will see a congratulatory message along with your photo and details.
If not admitted yet, you will get the response: “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”
How to Accept or Reject Your Admission
After confirming your admission status, the next step is to either accept or reject the admission offer:
- Send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- Alternatively, visit a JAMB-accredited centre if you no longer have access to your registered phone number.
Note: Candidates have four (4) weeks to accept the offer of admission. Failure to do so may lead to forfeiture of the admission slot.
Printing Your JAMB Admission Letter
Once you have accepted your admission, ensure you print your admission letter immediately. This document will be required during:
- Clearance at KSU
- Departmental and faculty registration
- Final school documentation
You can print your admission letter directly from the JAMB portal under your profile.
Important Note for Mobile Phone Users
If you are checking your admission status with a phone, you may only see the welcome message on CAPS instead of the full options. To fix this:
- Use Google Chrome browser
- Enable desktop site mode from the Chrome options menu
This will allow you to view the complete CAPS page and access all admission features.
