Requirements for Professorial Cadre
- At least 20 publications (16 in print), with 4 in reputable international indexed journals.
- Supervision of at least 3 Master’s and 1 PhD student.
- Evidence of continuous teaching and research excellence.
Non-Teaching Staff Positions
In addition to teaching positions, FULafia is recruiting for non-teaching staff roles including:
- Director of Health Services – MBBS with at least 15 years post-registration experience and proven leadership capacity.
- Medical Officer – MBBS plus NYSC completion or exemption.
- Pharmacy Intern – B.Pharm with full registration and NYSC certificate.
- Medical Laboratory Scientist – Degree in MLS plus registration with Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Medical Records Officer – Minimum National Diploma in Medical Records from a recognized institution.
- Medical Laboratory Technician – WASSCE/SSCE with 3 years training and registration.
Conditions of Service
The terms of employment are consistent with those applicable in Nigerian federal universities and as approved by the Federal University of Lafia Governing Council.
