NABTEB to Adopt Computer-Based Testing for Future Exams – Registrar

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced plans to introduce Computer-Based Tests (CBT) for its upcoming Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) common entrance and other examinations.
Speaking during a monitoring exercise at the federal technical colleges’ entrance exams in Uromi, Edo State, NABTEB’s Registrar/CEO, Muhammed Aminu Muhammed, said the board is laying the groundwork for this digital transition.
Represented by the Director of Quality Assurance, Osaigbovo Pius, the registrar emphasized that NABTEB is committed to embracing modern exam practices by investing in the infrastructure needed to implement CBT.
> “CBT is clearly the future of examinations,” he noted. “JAMB has already embraced it, and WAEC may likely do the same by next year. NABTEB will not be left behind.”
He added that efforts are ongoing to ensure that all necessary facilities are in place to make the switch to CBT a success.
