JAMB Mop-Up Exam for Missed 2025 UTME |
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has scheduled Saturday, 28th June 2025, for the conduct of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise.
This year, over two million candidates registered for the UTME, with more than 1.9 million having already taken the exam.
In addition to the main UTME held in April, JAMB also conducted a rescheduled exam in May for over 300,000 candidates whose results were affected by a technical glitch.
The issue impacted candidates at 65 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres in Lagos and 92 centres across Anambra, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, and Enugu states.
A total of 96,838 candidates are expected to sit for the upcoming mop-up exam.
This figure includes 5,096 spill-over candidates who experienced biometric verification failures during the main UTME.
Also included are 91,742 candidates who were absent during both the main and rescheduled examinations.
Printing of notification slips will begin on Monday, 23rd June 2025.
The slip will contain details such as each candidate’s examination centre and scheduled time.
The exam will be conducted in 183 CBT centres across the country.
JAMB has announced that the first session of the exam will start at 8:00 a.m.
“Candidates scheduled for the 8:00 a.m. session are strongly advised to arrive at their respective centres at least one to one and a half hours before the examination begins,” the Board stated.
