China Accuses Trump of Escalating Iran-Israel Conflict With Provocative Remarks

China has accused former U.S. President Donald Trump of worsening tensions between Iran and Israel, following his public call for residents in Tehran to evacuate immediately.

Trump’s warning came after Israel launched a surprise aerial assault on multiple targets in Iran last week, claiming the strikes were aimed at stopping Iran’s alleged ambitions to develop nuclear weapons—an accusation Iran has repeatedly denied.

The sudden surge in hostilities has raised global alarm over the possibility of a broader regional conflict. In response, Trump took to his Truth Social platform, urging:

“Everyone should immediately evacuate!”

China Warns Against Provocations

Reacting to Trump’s remarks, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun condemned what he described as actions that fuel rather than defuse the crisis.

“Fanning the flames, pouring oil, making threats and mounting pressure will not help to de-escalate the situation,” Guo said. “On the contrary, it will only broaden and intensify the conflict.”

He urged countries with significant influence over Israel to act responsibly and take steps toward de-escalation and regional stability.

“All relevant parties, especially those with special influence on Israel, must shoulder their responsibilities and prevent the conflict from spreading,” he said.

China Urges Citizens to Leave Israel

Amid the escalating violence, China’s embassy in Israel issued a statement on Tuesday advising Chinese nationals to leave the country as soon as possible, citing safety concerns.

“Chinese nationals should exit via land border crossings if they can ensure personal safety,” the statement said, recommending Jordan as the safest route for evacuation.

The warning comes as both Israel and Iran exchange heavy strikes, threatening to spiral into a broader confrontation with global consequences.
