According to eyewitness Yahuza Alhassan, a resident of Katari, the bandits also abducted two others, including Shuaibu, a farmer, who was robbed of N980,000 cash before being taken away into the bush.
A devastating incident occurred on the Abuja-Kaduna highway, leaving one person dead and two others kidnapped. The victims were attacked by suspected bandits around 9:33 pm at Dogon-Fili, near Jere town. The deceased, Danladi Jobe, a driver, was returning from a nearby village market when the bandits ambushed his vehicle, killing him instantly.
According to eyewitness Yahuza Alhassan, a resident of Katari, the bandits also abducted two others, including Shuaibu, a farmer, who was robbed of N980,000 cash before being taken away into the bush. The whereabouts of the kidnapped victims remain unknown.
The Kaduna State Police Command has been silent on the incident, as the spokesman, DSP Mansur Hassan, did not respond to calls or text messages.
