President Tinubu Arrives in Riyadh for World Economic Forum |

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the 2024 Special World Economic Forum (WEF) on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development. This marks the second leg of his two-nation tour, following his engagements in The Hague, Netherlands, earlier this week.
The high-level forum, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, will bring together over 1,000 leaders from business, government, and academia from more than 90 countries. The event aims to build on the success of last year's inaugural Growth Summit held in Geneva, Switzerland, and will focus on addressing pressing global challenges across three main themes: revitalizing global collaboration, fostering inclusive growth, and catalyzing action on energy for development.

This two-day visit marks Tinubu's second trip to the Gulf nation in five months and his 19th foreign destination since assuming office 11 months ago. His previous trips have taken him to Paris, France (thrice); London, the United Kingdom; Bissau, Guinea-Bissau (twice); Nairobi, Kenya; Porto Novo, Benin Republic; New Delhi, India; Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates; New York, the United States of America; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Berlin, Germany; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Dakar, Senegal; Doha, Qatar; and The Hague, The Netherlands.
The World Economic Forum provides a platform for global leaders to come together and find solutions to pressing economic and energy challenges, and President Tinubu's participation is expected to contribute significantly to the discussions.
