| JAMB Releases NUTME 2024 Results: Over 1.4 Million Candidates Score Below 200 |
According to JAMB's Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, only 8,401 candidates achieved scores of 300 and above, while 77,070 scored 250 and above. Furthermore, 439,974 candidates scored 200 and above, while the remaining 1,402,490 fell short of the 200-mark threshold.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), revealing that a significant number of candidates failed to score half of the possible marks. Out of 1,842,464 candidates who sat for the examination, 1,402,490 (78%) scored below 200 out of 400 marks.
