Approved UNIABUJA End of Year Break 2025
The University Management has approved a temporary shutdown of all academic and administrative activities as part of the UNIABUJA end of year break 2025.
Key Dates to Note
- University Closure Begins: Wednesday, 17 December 2025
- Break Ends: Sunday, 4 January 2026
- Resumption Date: Monday, 5 January 2026
During this period, all lectures, examinations, and administrative operations will be suspended.
Essential Services Exempted From the Break
While the university will be closed, certain units will continue operations to ensure safety and continuity of critical services.
Exempted Departments Include:
- Safety Unit
- Health Services
- Works and Services Department
- Other essential departments and units
Staff assigned to these units are required to remain at their duty posts throughout the end of year break.
