University of Ibadan Announces Acceptance Fee Payment for 2025/2026 Session
The University of Ibadan (UI) has officially announced the commencement of acceptance fee payment for candidates offered provisional admission for the 2025/2026 academic session.
All newly admitted students who have successfully generated their admission letters on JAMB CAPS are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦50,000 only via the official UI Admission Portal — www.admissions.ui.edu.ng.
The payment window opens on Monday, November 10, 2025, and closes on Friday, December 5, 2025.
There will be no extension of the deadline, so all admitted candidates are advised to complete payment promptly.
Who Should Pay the UI Acceptance Fee
Only candidates who have:
- Been offered admission into any undergraduate program at UI for the 2025/2026 academic session.
- Generated their admission letter via the JAMB CAPS Portal.
Candidates who are yet to generate their admission letters must do so before making payment.
Please note that requests for refunds will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Documents Required for Upload
During payment, all admitted candidates must upload the following documents on the UI Admission Portal:
- O’Level result(s) (WAEC/NECO)
- PIN/SERIAL numbers of valid WAEC or NECO scratch cards for result verification
Ensure all uploaded documents are clear and verifiable to avoid delays during clearance.
How to Pay UI Acceptance Fee 2025/2026
Follow these simple steps to pay your UI acceptance fee successfully:
Step 1: Log In
- Visit www.admissions.ui.edu.ng.
- Enter your login details (email and password) to access your dashboard.
Step 2: Choose Payment Option
You can pay through any of the following methods:

Card Payment
Use your ATM (Debit or Credit) card to pay directly through the online portal. -
Bank Branch Payment
- Print your payment slip from the admission portal.
- Visit any designated bank branch and pay using the printed slip.
- After payment, log in again to the portal to confirm and reconcile your payment.
Step 3: Print Your Receipt
After successful payment, print your payment receipt for record-keeping and clearance purposes.
Next Steps After Payment
Once you’ve paid the acceptance fee, proceed with the next phase of your admission process:

Credential Verification
Present the original copies of all academic credentials to the designated Schedule Officers at the Undergraduate Admissions Office (dates to be communicated later). -
Clearance and Matriculation
Candidates who pass the clearance process will be officially matriculated as bona fide students of the University of Ibadan during the upcoming matriculation ceremony.
Important Notice
- Candidates found to have gained admission using false, irregular, or insufficient credentials will have their admission immediately withdrawn.
