General Admission Requirements

To qualify for the LASU Sandwich Degree Programmes, candidates must meet one of the following:

• O’Level / NABTEB: Five (5) credits at not more than two sittings.
• A’ Level / NCE: Two subjects at Merit Pass in relevant areas.
• Diploma: A University or Polytechnic Diploma (minimum of Lower Credit).
• Compulsory Subjects: English Language and Mathematics are required for all courses.

Specific Subject Requirements

Here are some subject-specific entry requirements:

• English Major: Credit passes in English Language and Literature.
• Economics Major: Credits in English, Mathematics, and Economics.
• Political Science Major: Credits in English, Mathematics, and Government.
• Human Kinetics / Health Education: Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, and Health Science (with recognition of Nursing and Health diplomas).
• Mathematics & Science Major: Credits in English, Mathematics, and Physics are compulsory.

For additional eligibility, professional certificates such as ICAN (Part II), CTS (Part II), and Arabic NCE at Merit Level may also be accepted.

Course Duration

• Four (4)-Year Programme: For candidates with NCE/ND Merit or above.
• Five (5)-Year Programme: For candidates with only SSCE, NABTEB, or NCE qualifications.
