How to Check OOU Admission List 2025/2026 on JAMB CAPS

- Visit the JAMB CAPS Portal and log in with your registered email address and password.
- On your dashboard, click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Next, select “Access My CAPS.”
- Finally, click on “Admission Status” to view your admission offer.
What You’ll See After Checking Admission Status
- If admitted: Your photo and a congratulatory message will be displayed, confirming your admission into OOU.
- If not admitted yet: You will see the response “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”
How to Accept or Reject OOU Admission on JAMB CAPS
If you have been offered admission, you must decide whether to accept or reject the offer. Here’s how:
- Send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- Alternatively, you can accept or reject directly on the JAMB CAPS portal after logging in.
Note: Candidates have 4 weeks to respond. Failure to do so will result in the withdrawal of your admission.
Printing Your OOU Admission Letter
After accepting your admission, the next step is to print your admission letter. This document is very important as it will be required during your clearance and registration at OOU.
To print your admission letter:
- Log in to JAMB e-Facility.
- Select “Print Admission Letter.”
- Make payment online and print the document.
Important Notes for OOU Admission Candidates
- Using a phone? Some mobile users may not see the Admission Status option on CAPS. If this happens, switch to Desktop Mode on your browser.
- The Google Chrome browser is highly recommended for mobile users. Simply tap the three-dot menu, select “Request Desktop Site,” and reload the page to view the full CAPS portal.
- Always ensure you use the phone number linked to your JAMB profile when sending SMS for admission acceptance or rejection.
