NABTEB 2025 NBC/NTC Examination Results Released

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has officially released the results of the 2025 June/July National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate (NTC) examinations. This year’s results reflect remarkable improvements in both candidate performance and enrolment figures compared to the 2024 session.

The announcement was made on Thursday at NABTEB’s Annex Office in Abuja by the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, who highlighted the positive growth recorded this year.

Enrolment Growth

A total of 92,875 candidates registered for the 2025 examinations.
The exams were conducted across 1,892 centres nationwide, marking a 37.08% increase in enrolment and a 10.77% rise in the number of centres compared to 2024.

Performance Analysis

89,621 candidates were graded.
61,104 candidates (68.18%) scored five credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics.
74,633 candidates (83.28%) obtained five credits and above with or without English and Mathematics.
Subject-specific pass rates:
- English Language: 93.10%
- Mathematics: 94.60%

Dr. Mohammed noted that while more candidates passed Mathematics, fewer students achieved strong results in English Language compared to the 2024 examinations.

Reduction in Examination Malpractice

The board recorded a decline in malpractice cases during the 2025 session:

435 candidates were involved in 516 cases, compared to 349 candidates and 524 cases in 2024.

This indicates progress in upholding examination integrity and discouraging misconduct among candidates.

Registration Opens for 2025 November/December NABTEB Exams

NABTEB also announced the commencement of registration for the 2025 November/December NBC/NTC and ANBC/ANTC examinations.
