Minimum Qualifications for Teaching Staff

• Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 05): Ph.D. in relevant field, 6 years teaching experience, at least 15 refereed publications, and evidence of research supervision.
• Lecturer I (CONUASS 04): Ph.D., 4 years teaching experience, and a minimum of 8 publications.
• Lecturer II (CONUASS 03): Ph.D. with at least 4 publications and 3 years teaching experience.
• Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 02): Master’s degree in relevant field (Ph.D. grade) with potential for academic career.
• Librarian I & II: Degrees in Library and Information Science, relevant work experience, and scholarly publications.

Additional Requirements for Teaching Staff:

• Five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics.
• Teaching qualifications in the relevant field.
• ICT proficiency from a recognized institution.
• NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Non-Teaching Staff Positions

Registry

• Assistant Registrar (CONTISS 09): Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Humanities, Social or Management Sciences with 3 years’ experience.
• Administrative Officer II (CONTISS 07): First degree in Humanities, Social or Management Sciences.

Bursary

• Accountant II (CONTISS 07): B.Sc. in Accounting.

Library

• Senior Library Officer (CONTISS 08): Degree in Library and Information Science plus 3 years’ experience.

Internal Audit

• Senior Internal Auditor (CONTISS 09): B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Accounting, 3 years’ experience, and ICAN/ANAN membership.

Procurement Unit

• Senior Procurement Officer (CONTISS 08): Degree in Purchasing, Supply, Marketing, Business Administration, or Economics with 3 years’ experience.

Information/Protocol Unit

• Information/Protocol Officer (CONTISS 08): Degree in Mass Communication or English with a Master’s degree in relevant field.

Legal Unit

• Legal Officer I (CONTISS 08): LLB and BL with ICT proficiency.

Works/Physical Planning

• Engineer I, Pupil Architect, Quantity Surveyor: Master’s degree or first degree in relevant engineering or architecture field with 3 years’ work experience.

Science Laboratory

• Higher Laboratory Technologist (CONTISS 07): B.Sc./HND in Laboratory Technology plus NISLT membership.

ICT Unit

• Computer Electronics Engineer II (CONTISS 07): Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering, registrable with COREN.
• Systems Programmer/Analyst II (CONTISS 07): B.Sc. in Computer Science with programming/analysis skills.

Clinic

• Senior Nursing Officer (CONTISS 09): B.Sc. Nursing with 5 years’ experience and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• Staff Nurse (CONTISS 07): SSCE plus NRN/NRM/SCM qualifications.

Academic Planning Unit

• Planning Officer II (CONTISS 07): Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Educational Management.

General Requirements for Non-Teaching Staff:

• NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
• ICT proficiency from a recognized institution.
• Professional membership where applicable.
