FUTA Admission List Released for 2025/2026
The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has officially released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who participated in the admission screening exercise can now check their admission status through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

How to Check FUTA Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
To know if you have been offered admission, follow the steps below:
- Visit the JAMB CAPS portal.
- Login using your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access My CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to see if your name is on the list.
If you have been offered admission, your photo and a congratulatory message will appear on the screen. If not, you will see the message: “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”
Accepting or Rejecting Your Admission Offer
After confirming your admission, you need to either accept or reject it. Here’s how:
- Send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- Candidates have 4 weeks to make this decision.
- If your registered phone number is unavailable, visit any JAMB-accredited CBT center to accept or reject the offer.
Printing Your Admission Letter
Once you have accepted the offer, ensure that you print your JAMB admission letter. This document will be required during school clearance and registration at FUTA.
Important Notes for Mobile Users
Many candidates checking via mobile phones may not see the full CAPS options. If this happens:
- Use the Google Chrome browser.
- Go to the settings menu and select “Request Desktop Site” to view the complete page.
What to Do If You Haven’t Been Admitted Yet
If your status shows “No Admission Has Been Given Yet,” don’t panic. FUTA releases admission in batches. Keep checking the JAMB CAPS portal regularly as more names are uploaded.
