The Kebbi State Police Command has disbursed over N16.9 million to the families of 25 police officers who died in active service. The cheques were presented by the Commissioner of Police, Bello M. Sani, at a ceremony held at the Police Headquarters in Birnin Kebbi.
This payout was made under the Group Life Assurance Scheme and the Inspector-General of Police Family Welfare Scheme, designed to provide financial relief to dependents of fallen heroes.
