What is the NYFF?
The Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF) is a youth-led grant and capacity-building program that supports young people between the ages of 15–35 working on governance, education, entrepreneurship, human rights, gender equality, or peace-building in Nigeria.
In 2024/2025, NYFF offered two main funding tracks:
- Youth Leadership Development Fund (YLDF) – For individuals and youth-led groups
- Catalyst Grants – For registered youth-based organizations
Grant Amounts
- Individuals & Small Youth Groups: Up to ₦1 million
- Registered NGOs/Community-Based Organizations: ₦3 million–₦5 million
- Project Duration: 3 to 6 months
Applications for the 2024/25 cycle closed in late December 2024, but new grant windows are expected to reopen by Q4 2025.
Who is Eligible?
To qualify, you must:
- Be Nigerian and aged 15–35
- Lead or be part of a youth-led initiative or organization
- Have a track record of work in your community (volunteering, advocacy, campaigns, etc.)
- Have a clear project idea aligned with NYFF’s goals: good governance, youth empowerment, or civic innovation
Organizations must be:
- Registered with CAC (NGO/CBO status)
- Able to show previous projects or funding usage
- Committed to youth inclusion (minimum 60% youth involvement)

- Project proposal and implementation plan
