Super Eagles forward Moses Simon has completed his medical ahead of a move to newly promoted Ligue 1 side Paris FC. The 29-year-old is set to sign a three-year deal running until 2028, with a transfer fee of €7 million.

According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Simon’s six-year stint with Nantes has officially come to an end as he prepares to begin a new chapter in the French capital.

“Moses Simon has just completed his medical at Paris FC today after deal done with Nantes for €7m,” Romano revealed via his official X account (@FabrizioRomano) on Tuesday.

In addition to the €7 million agreed upon with Nantes, Simon has also settled personal terms, reportedly earning nearly twice his previous salary.

The Nigerian international, who earned around €38,000 per week at Nantes, will now take home approximately €75,000 per week—his highest salary yet.

Simon, who turns 30 next month, has been a pivotal figure at Nantes since arriving from Levante—initially on loan in 2019 before making the move permanent in 2020.

Over six seasons with the Canaries, he made 201 appearances, scored 33 goals, and provided 42 assists—setting a club record for total goal contributions in all competitions.

Last season, he netted eight goals and registered 10 assists in 32 Ligue 1 matches, playing a crucial role in helping Nantes avoid relegation.

With just a year left on his contract and no agreement on an extension, both parties appear to have mutually decided to part ways.

Despite interest from several Ligue 1 clubs, as well as teams across Europe and the United States, Simon is reportedly drawn to Paris FC’s ambitious project.

Sources close to the Benue State-born winger told THISDAY that Simon is particularly keen on remaining in France, as he is close to securing French citizenship—an opportunity that would grant him dual nationality.
