UNILORIN Announces Promotion of 40 New Professors

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has unveiled the promotion of 40 senior academic staff to the prestigious rank of professor. The elevation, approved by the Minister of Education, Prof Tahir Mamman, SAN, underscores the commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and community service.

Among the beneficiaries, 11 new Professors hail from the Faculty of Agriculture, while the Faculty of Clinical Sciences and the Faculty of Communication & Information Sciences each contributed two new Professors. Additionally, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Life Sciences produced one and four new professors, respectively.
