Despite the setback with El-Ettifaq, Nwabali is anticipated to depart from Chippa United this summer, with two other clubs showing interest in the 27-year-old goalkeeper.
Nwabali has been in high demand following his exceptional performances for the Super Eagles at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
This season, Nwabali has achieved 10 clean sheets in 25 league matches, a significant increase from the six appearances he made last season.
