Nigerian Army Launches Recruitment Drive for Non-Tradesmen and Women |
The Nigerian Army has announced an exciting opportunity for non-tradesmen and women to join its ranks. The recruitment application process, which is free, started on May 3 and will run until June 7, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online through the Nigerian Army recruitment website.
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be single and a Nigerian citizen by birth
- Possess a National Identity Card or NIN slip
- Be medically, physically, and psychologically fit
- Have no criminal convictions
- Have at least four passes in not more than two sittings in WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB
- Possess a valid birth certificate and certificate of state of origin
- Be between 18 and 22 years old (non-tradesmen/women) or 26 years old (tradesmen/women) as of June 30, 2024
- Meet the required height standards (1.68 meters for males and 1.65 meters for females)
Shortlisted candidates will participate in the State Recruitment Screening Exercise scheduled for June 20-July 3, 2024. The Nigerian Army emphasizes that recruitment is free, and candidates should be wary of fraudsters.
